The Last Day of School
We had our version of Minute to Win It on the last day of school. The kids had a blast playing the games and laughing at their teachers trying to complete the tasks! Here are some pics of the fun.
We started with a spaghetti noodle in our mouth. We tried to string 2 rigatoni noodles on it without using our hands in 2 minutes.
Next, we tried to unscramble our scrambled up breakfast cereal box puzzles. This was the most challenging for the students!
The third challenge was trying to fan a tissue paper fish across the room into a pond (blue butcher paper) using a plate.
Finally, we used a straw to suck beans up and over to a new plate across the table.
Then we rolled out the red carpet and had our first grade stars collect their awards and books! Check our fun poses!
We will miss all of you wonderful first graders! We hope you have a fun and safe summer and make sure you come say hi to us when you are grown up 2nd graders in the fall!
