We have butterflies!

Our butterflies are here! All 6 of our chrysalis' have opened up to reveal our painted lady butterflies. The kids had so much fun observing them today. We can really see them up close when they land on the side walls of the net cage. We've been able to see their long tongues roll out and watch them use their antennae to search and feel for things in front of them. We will watch them all week long and enjoy releasing them into the outdoors on Thursday!

We will be feeding them sugar water (soaked in a sponge) and the juice from orange slices.
