Bridging the Generations
We have started our first service learning experience by doing a kickoff week full of great books and transforming ourselves into an older version of ourselves (see kickoff week picture of our Impact teachers). Our biggest treat was having a magnificent group of men from the Burnsville Football Team come teach us about how much each generation can impact another. Current Head coach Tyler Krebs, former head coach Dick Hanson and 3 of next year's captains came to visit. 183 Impact students sat in awe of the wonderful stories each person shared about what their relationship with each other has done for them. Students were able to reflect on what was shared and are inspired to impact the older generation during our service learning experience in January and part of February.
